I got a new left
hand front ball joint as it had lots of play and I replaced the wishbone &
bushes on that side while I was at it. Also fitted a new set of fuel injectors as
after 150,000 miles I think the old ones had seen better days.
New metering head and the car runs MUCH smoother - I had very uneven injector
quantities.
New Ignition Switch - old one gave up and stranded me in a rough part of town -
why not replace yours before it fails, it only cost £18 from Audi.
New

New Dialynx Alloy Radiator – looks good and allowed me to remove my front radiator, which had seen better days…
New rear window glass with ‘quattro’ script in heated rear
window element – as it should be for an ’85. I now have a spare early urq /
coupe rear glass – if
